Interview with Yoke Lore
Adrian, who plays by the moniker Yoke Lore played the recordBar last night. Before the show we sat in the quiet green room (yes it's actually green) on a large, comfy couch. Adrian, who once played in Walk the Moon and Yellerkin, has been playing on his own now for several years with growing popularity. Yoke Lore has even gotten a nod of approval from Taylor Swift. A mix of bedroom pop, synth, and folky banjo combine with his dreamy voice to make the music of Yoke Lore. His warm introspective personality shine through in the interview (and his music) as we spoke about what drives him, being vulnerable in his art in growing popularity, striking a balance with his growing music career and his love for other art forms, and much more.
