Interview with Kianna of Yes You Are
Yes You Are is a band with a pop feel that is surrounded in mystery. They took about a year and half off to figure themselves out and do some recording. They've been back at it again and wowthey sound great. Earlier this year they released a single, "Come Back Home" and they've got another single on the way. They've been playing stripped down acoustic sets and as their full band. Friday night they played a benefit for Shatterproff, an organization with a mission to reduce the devastation the disease of addition causes families. They do prevention work, help people get access to effective treatments, and reduce stigma around addiction. Kianna sat down with Kimmy to talk about the deeper meaning of life and what makes them who they are. You can catch them on October 18 at the Nelson for their Third Thursday Monster Mash and on the 19th at 96.5 the Buzz's Halloween Party.
(This interview was recorded in the greenroom at the recordBar and you'll hear Sondra pop in to get some things ready before the show, pour a little ice, and bring Kianna some preshow Redbull.)
