On July 7, Quite Frankly won ShuttleRock! Teen Battle of the Bands hosted by the Nelson-Atkins Teens group. Other bands were The Whips, Neon Black, Risky Shift, and The Resonance. One of the prizes for winning was a photo shoot with I Love KC Music. While I was hanging out with this band I took some time to interview the band. Quite Frankly is a young band ranging from 13 to 15; they play a mix of covers and originals. We chatted about what they've been up to this summer, up coming gigs, and more. Check it out.
